Summer Service of Remembrance
Join us as we celebrate the memories of those we have loved and sadly lost. This will be our second summer service of remembrance- last year was incredibly uplifting and comforting to those in attendance and we hope you’re able to join us.
There will be refreshments and time to enjoy the beautiful Birches gardens should you wish to stay with us after the service.
Christmas Service of Remembrance
Join us for our annual Christmas service of remembrance.
There will be moments of reflection, times to remember our loved ones and plenty of music and comforting readings as we join together as a community at this special time of year.
We’ll be sharing ways you can get involved in the service closer to the time.
There will be a webcast of the service for those unable to join us in person, details to be shared later this year.
Father's Day Remembrance Evening
Sunday 15th June is Father’s Day- a time of memories, reflection and care.
On the day itself, our beautiful remembrance gardens will be open for visitors to spend time amongst the beauty of nature to remember those Father’s and father-figures who we may have lost, but are forever in our memories.
On Friday 13th June (the Friday before), we will be opening the doors to our hall of remembrance for anyone who wishes to have some time of reflection whilst visiting Birches.
Between 3pm - 7pm on Friday, our doors will be open and refreshments available for anyone who wishes to spend some time in remembrance.
There will be a rolling display on the screens of the names and/or photographs of those who we wish to remember this father’s day. Should you wish for your loved one to be included, please use the form below to submit their name and/or photograph. Please note, these will need to be uploaded by Wednesday 11th June to be ready in time.

VE Day 80th Anniversary Beacon Lighting
To mark the 80th anniversary of VE day, we will be reading the ‘VE Day 80 Proclamation’ at 9am and lighting our beacon in honour of the occasion. You will be very welcome to join us should you wish to take part in this short moment to mark such an important anniversary.
